Have you ever seen "What About Bob?" Remember the part where Dr. Leo Marvin prescribes the perfect medicine for Bob? He tells him to take a vacation from his problems.
So, yes. That's what I need to do. If I can't go to the Bahamas, then I'll just take a vacation from my problems.
'Cuz that's realistic.
Anyway, It's been quite a rough couple of weeks, and now I'm down with the flu. There's nothing like taking care of a toddler when you can't really hold your head up and the room spins everytime you try. Not to mention the whole, you know, motherhood responsibility thing. Those diapers won't change themselves. And unfortunately, he doesn't know how to make his own PB&J.
And now I shall take baby steps into the living room where said toddler is watching "Blues Clues." For the fifth time today. And it's only 9 a.m.
OY. Mother said there'd be days like this.

Girl, I feel for you. Hope you get better soon.
Happi,
I'm so sorry to hear you are under the weather. I hope you can get some much needed rest this weekend while hubby helps with the children!!!
I always tell others that the most difficult thing about motherhood is when Mom is sick, but still needs to care for everyone else. That's such a tough place to be.
Praying for you.
Love,
Julie
Load yourself up with vitamin c and get better quick girl!
Can I come on the vacation with you:) PLEASE! Maybe we could put our toddlers together in a room to watch Blue's Clue's while we sip White Mocha or something:)
Hope your days get brighter real soon! Spring is coming:):):)
Hope you feel better soon and hope you are able to get the rest you need!!
Hope you are feeling much better. It really is horrible when you're not at your best, and still have to tend to everyone else!
Yes, kids sure don't understand when Mommy isn't feeling. REST UP!
