Nine years ago we said "I do." We spent our honeymoon in the beautiful Smoky Mountains, and on one of the days we ventured out, he engraved our initials onto a wooden bridge.
Last week, he found the spot where it was, and just to be sure it stayed until the next time, he went over it again with his pocket knife.
Don't think for a minute that I don't know how blessed I am.
There's a huge rock at Bushkill Falls in the Poconos where couples carve their initials. Once upon a time, Gregg and I carved ours in, but I'd be shocked if it were still there. That was a looooong time ago (Dorney Park anyone?), but I'd love to go back and see if we could carve it in again!

How romantic:)!
That is too sweet. What fun that you were able to find it again.
awe J and I have our initials carved into a bench at a park. Wonder if it is still there. We'll have to check when it warms up!
