The Berger Buzz: Enough Whining Already

I went back and read my previous post a few minutes ago and think it's ridiculous to whine about something as silly as snow.

My friend Debbie found out today that she has cancer. Again. The prognosis is good, but still.

Italy has been devastated by a massive earthquake.

And this is a week when we should be filled with NOTHING but gratitude over a Savior who went to a cruel cross for you and me.

Enough whining about the snow. God, forgive me.

About My Faith

I am a woman who believes that Jesus Christ died for my sins, that He rose again, and that He is coming back again. I have put my faith and trust in Him because I believe that the Word of God, the bible, is truth. I pray that my life would be a living reflection of who He is and that His love would shine through me in all I do and say. I spent several years living "on my own" and out of God's will, and those were some of the most trying times of my life. I learned that I cannot do anything good apart from God. I also learned that God's unending, amazing grace was (and still is) sufficient for me. I finally turned my life over to Him in 1999, and I have never looked back. Am I perfect? Oh, no! But at every turn, I know that His hand will be there to guide me, sustain me, and carry me through each day, month, and year. He is all I need!
