We were at the store and there was a dinosaur costume in my sons (2.5 year old) size. He isn't much for costumes but since he was dancing around the store begging to try it, we tried it and he appropriately growled at everyone passing. I was fooled into thinking this behavior meant he LIKED the costume and, even more bizarre, I thought this meant he WOULD wear it! What was I thinking?? That was the one and only time the costume was near him when it did NOT bring him to tears. He hates costumes. I now know this for next year. I kept the tags on it, but I know it won't be refundable - maybe I can sell it online next year?? haah Pathetic, I know! All that to say - glad you were able to bribe a smile! I tried the bribes too but it didn't work. :(

Mark wasn't thrilled when he put his Yoda costume on, but while wearing it on the way to the library he got used to it. We'll see how tonight goes....
